Report prints extra page on one computer

I have a report printing from Access that is 2 and 1/2 pages long.
MOST computers print the 3 pages and are done with it. ONE of my
computers, Running Windows 7, with Runtime Access 2010 32 Bit
verision, when it prints the exact same report, it prints 4 pages.
The report footer reports 1 or 4, 2 of 4 Through the blank page 4 of
4.

What perplexes me the most about this is it's only happening on the
one computer. Both computers run the same version of Access, they
both have windows 7, and the driver for the printer seems to be the
same as well.

I'll try adding a different printer to this computer to see if that
sheds any light on the problem.

If anyone else has seen this, or knows how to fix it, please let me
know!

TIA!

Some printers are slightly different. Some printer drivers are
slightly different. The report in question might not quite fit on the
trouble printer in three pages.

If you add one more line to the report, what happens on each
printer?

yeah, except that the report isn't 4 pages long. it's 2 1/2 pages
long. which uses 3 pages, but the last half of the third page was
blank.

Also, I tried printing to several printers. Three different models
of HPs, and differing drivers as well, as well as a huge Xerox 8830
printer we have that I KNOW uses different print drivers. Of course
that had 3 pages as well.

What seems sort of telling though, is that if you have the document
previewed on your screen, and you change printers, it stills says page
x of 4.. It never gets rid of that last page..

UPDATE!

This bug is documented by Microsoft. The fix was to put "Force Page
Break" before the section header, instead of after the section
footer.

Beats me, I can understand it conceptually, but I don't understand why
they didn't just check for that. it's only because it's a new version
of access that this "Bug" even showed up!
