1 - How can I get a report to print grid lines so that it
looks like a table. Currently when report prints all the
data is individually underlined.
2 - How can I isolate what I want to print so that
borders and lines with no data don't overlap to new
pages. I moved the fields closer in design view but this
option is quite tedious. Isn't there a "shrink to fit 1
page option" like in Word or Excel?

Thanks!

Change the individual controls to show the borders. Then align the controls.
You can select all the controls at one time and use the format menu to
decrease the horizontal space between the controls. Do that multiple times
and eventually they will be butted against each other. This works to give you
a grid as long as you don't have Can Grow turned on for any of the controls.
Otherwise, you will need to use VBA to draw the grid. See your earlier post
for a reference to an MS Knowledge Base article.

And Access does not have a shrink to fit option when printing.
