HI -

I am new with access programming.

I am having trouble trying to change the default
orientation of my report from Portrait to Landscape. I
know the report wizard prompts the user to set the
orientation. However, since my report has already been
built, I want to be able to either go back to my report
wizard (which I do not know how to), or change the
settings of my report through the properties (which,
again, I do not know how to).
I have gone to my page setup to change the orientation,
but each time I run a new report, it goes back to
portrait view with all my changes lost!!

Please advise!
Thanks!!

Leo, Open the report in design view, than on the file
menu select page setup, and her you can set the
orientation and margins.
Hope this helps.

Hi Fons -
Yes. I tried that and it works only once. The next time I
run a new report, it goes back to portrait! (see below
email)
Any other suggestions? How would you go back to the
report wizard once the report has been built?

Thanks!

Hi Leo. Turn of the autocorrect and see if that fixes the
problem. To do so from the tools menu select options and
go to the general tab. Here you can turn of various
autocorrect options.
In the mean time make sure that all updates for access are
uptodate.
Hope this helps.

Hi Fons! Yes! Thanks I think it is working now!!
No amount of Access reading would have taught me that!

Glad it worked
Take care
