Hi,

I was looking for the Microsoft Excel add-in, Report
Manager, for Excel 2003. In my search online I could only
find the add-in for 2002, 97, and other years which do
not pertain to my version of Excel.

Is there some way I can get this add-in for my Excel?

I have the Office 2003 CD that came with the computer but
that doesn't seem to provide any solutions either.

Thank you for the the help,

Hi,

I have tried to download and install the Excel 2002 Report Manage
add-in for Excel 2003 without success.

I download the .exe file from Microsoft and run it. It then asks m
would I like to install the file. After saying yes the file apparentl
installs.

However, when I go to the "Add-in" section of Excel there is no optio
for Report Manager nor does it appear under "View".

Has anyone else experienced a similar problem and managed to rectif
it?

Many thanks

*I closed Excel 2003. I downloaded the Excel 2002 Report Manage
rprmgr.exe from Microsoft's site and ran it. I copied the reports.xl
to the directory Drive:C:\Documents and Settings\username\Applicatio
Data\Microsoft\AddIns. *

copy on the right folder but I couldnt found reports.xla after ru

doenst install reports.xla.
when I see the rpmg.exe properties says is valid for win95,98,2000 an
Me. Maybe the problem is because I have windows XP

It will run on a Windows XP machine. When you run the rptmgr.exe file,
it will prompt you for a location for the file, with C:\Program
Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\Library offered as the default location.

If you're using Excel 2003, change Office10 to Office11

Hi All-
I have tried following the instructions in the various messages for getting the 2002 download to work for Office 2003, but I am having no luck. I have downloaded the exe file, but when I go to install it nothing appears to happen or change.

Any advice?

In the following thread:

http://groups.google.com/groups?&[email protected]

the poster describes a problem similar to yours. His solution was:

"But today I did other thing : I executed *.exe on friend pc who has
excel 02, and then I forwarded by email to my pc.
Finally I installed report.xla directly in my pc, and it works !!!!"

Is there another machine on which you could try the installation?

Hi All,

Extract the .exe (RPTMGR.EXE) and u should get the REPORTS.XLA file. It works in windows xp.
