Hello,
I'm new to creating Access reports so any help will be
greatly appreciated.
I hope this is a basic question.
I have a query that has three fields with which it is
sorted. Field 1 is a broad category identifier and has 4
different values. Field 2 is a subset of Field 1 and has
3-9 values for each Field 1. Field 3 is a score of the
items and that score is based on relative ranking within
Field 2.
In the Report for that query, I need a new page to come up
for each time Fields 1 or 2 change.
What is happening is that if Field 2 consists of only a
few records, it will print on the same page as the end of
the previous Field 2 value and, the header showing the
current Field 2 value is still listed as the previous
Field 2 value so it is not clear that the various records
on that page are from 2 different Field 2 values.
I've played around with the grouping settings but can't
seem to come up with the answer on how to start a new page
with each Field 2 value.
Thanks for any help you can provide!
