I can make a simple report from a query but do like the looks of it. I have
made a report from the master table and really like it but I need a good
looking report from my query. How do that?

You can change the Record Source on your form by opening in design view,
right click, and select Properties near the bottom of the popup. Click on
Data and change the record source to your query.

I suspect we're not using the same meaning for "report".

In MS Access, there are objects called "reports". They are not queries, and
not tables, and definitely DO offer a great deal of flexibility in designing
how you want to display the underlying data.

Access tables store data, Access queries retrieve data, Access forms and
reports display data.

What are you trying to do?
