report formating

I know you can set the page variable for the begining of a new section but
is it possible to set the pages total in a report to 1 when the group
changes

I have a report that is say 40 pages long
within this report I have say 10 main headings each heading has a varying
amount of pages i.e. section 1 might be 6 pages 2. 7 pages 3. 1page and so
on

on the page footer I have "page 1 of 40" etc
I also need to have in section 1 page 1 of 6, section 2 page 1 of 7 & so on

Any help would be great
