Report error message

The query from which I'm running a report is working fine
but when I try to create a report, I am getting the
following error message:

"The Microsoft Jet database engine stopped the process
because you and another user are attempting to change the
same data at the same time."

Even if I copy the database and work on the report in
another environment where I am the only user, I cannot
get the report to work. No tables or queries are open
when I try to create the report. Help is appreciated!

Hi Marla,

This post has gotten old - did you get this problem resolved? This
error is often caused by corruption. You should make a backup, then
compact and repair. If that fails, copy all objects into a new database
container.

Also, make sure you have the latest SP for Office on all PCs that are
using the database.
