Reply messages showing up in IMAP inbox

I have a problem with messages I reply to sending a copy to my IMAP inbox. I
can change the destination to "Sent Items" for each message but the setting
will not stick. Original messages properly send a copy to the local "Sent
Items" box and I need my reply messages to go there as well. What am I
missing?

Thanks in advance!

Since this can't happen by default, you must have a rule that is performing
the operation.

Hi Brian,
I check for rules by clicking Tools/Rules Wizard. There are no entries in
the "Apply Rules.." or "Rule Description" boxes. The only inbox I can select
in the Rules Wizard is the users IMAP inbox. Is there another place to look
for errant rules?

Do you have the option enabled to save messages in the folder with the
original if it's not in the Inbox?

Thanks Diane,
Indeed, under "Advanced E-mail options" - "In folders other than the inbox,
save replies with original message" has a check in it's box.
