Colleagues,
When I generate REPLMON reports from servers in an environment, I am seeing
orphaned replication partners listed as things like:
Partner Name: **DELETED SERVER #3
Partner GUID: <GUID>
USN: 4099235
I am not seeing errors in the event logs, but would like to clean up the AD
to have everything in hand. The issue is that when I attempt to do a
metadatacleanup, I cannot see the replication partners there. As such, I
cannot manually delete them.
I am finding some information at
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;870695 but wanted to
run this by the community before following along this route as I am not
specifically getting the 1988 errors and I don't know this command well
enough to mitigate potential negative impact.
