Replication

I have DC named DC1 as Operations Master and other DC2 as DC but DC1 is not
able to replicate to DC2 can anyone help me on this ? I have verified DNS
and it seems that its working fine.

Its important to know the error message.
Use repadmin /showreps and grab the exact error.

This will help us narrow down the cause.

Also, in addition to what Steve added, please run DCDIAG
as NETDIAG. In order to be able to run this tools you
normally need to install the Support Tools. You can do
this be installing from the WIN2000 Server CD -OR- from
the WIN2000 SP CD. The Service Pack CD would be the beter
choice...

But, repadmin /showreps is the proper tool to use. The
two that I suggest will show you a bunch of other things.
You can also take a look at NLTEST if you so choose.

Try Run net stop NTFRS, Then run net start NTFS on both
domain controllers __ check youre event viewer file
replication service for error messeges.
