In all the documentation that I have on FRS I read that
replication links between replication partners are
unidirectional. In fact, here is the exact quote:
"... The replication links that connect computers are
unidirectional. A change flows in the direction of the
link between two partners. To replicate changes from both
directions, a pair of links is necessary."
But, my tests have shown a different result: that
replication on a link between replication partners is bi-
directional. All my servers are W2K servers - SP4, and I
have a single link between computer A and computer B. I
change a file on computer A, and it get replicated to
computer B as expected. I make a change to the file on
computer B, and it also gets replicated to computer A. So,
unless there is something that I am missing, I'd say that
replication is bi-directional.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this, please.
thanks,
Fari
