Replication in VB.NET 2003

I am getting an error when trying to run the syncronization method in VB.NET
2003:

Initializing SQL Server Reconciler has failed [,,,,,]

Through ShowErrors I also got:

The process could not connect to '\\arias-m-server' (4E74)

Then I got:

Error Code: 11

SQL Server does not exist or access denied


Further research into the error gave me:

Value Description Parameters Error

29045 Initializing SQL Server Reconciler has failed. Not applicable
SSCE_M_INITIALIZERECONCILERFAILED


has anyone here seen this, and/or knows a workaround? I have retraced my
steps but I am not seeing what I have done wrong.

Any help is appreciated!

This is most likely resulting from access rights being incorrect or not
setup correctly.

If you are using SQL Server CE v2.0, I would strongly recommend that you
setup the setup wizard to setup all the rights for IIS and SQL Server.
