When I try to force a replication between 2 DC's using the
rplicate now command in AD Sites and services I get an
error message: "the following error occured during the
attempt to contact the domain controllers: Not enough
stoage is available to complete the operation" I have 5
domain controllers and each one has at leat 2 gb of free
drive space and a couple of 100 freemb ram and I searched
TechNet and found very ittle except a mention of
increasing the registry size which I did. Registry is 18
and i set the size to 100 still no luck.

Has anyone else seen this.

Thanks

Joe,

Have you checked any of the logs? Also, have you
installed the Support Tools ( located on the WIN2000
Server CD or - even better - on the WIN2000 Service Pack
CD ) and run DCDIAG /V and NETDIAG /V?

I have seen issues with "Not enough storage space" where
there was really a ton of space left. That was usually a
Service Pack issue. Reinstalling the Service Pack fixed
the issue.

Also, try running 'repadmin /showreps'.

Double check the amount of space you have on the C: drive.
I thought that I had lots of space spare but I didn't on
the c: drive, just loads on d:. Service pack 4 (I think)
doubles the size required for sysvol and this shot me over
my limit.
