If I check my rsop.msc on my login it tells me that I have the right policy, but when I tried to reset my password in AD it says: "Windows cannot complet password change for xxxx.xxxx because: The password dont meet......". When I loggin as the user and press ctlr alt and del and try to change password it dosen't folow the policy I have enterd. It looks like it uses an old one

I have tried dcdiag every thing passed

Thanks for the update.

This issue seems strange indeed. Have you run "gpupdate /force" to refresh
group policy after disabling the group policies? If not, have a try and
then run "rsop.msc" (without quotes). Verify that the password policy has
been properly configured. Now test if you can reset password now.

If the problem still exists, I would recommend that you post the issue to
Active Directory newsgroups below for further assistance:
microsoft.public.windows.server.active_director

| Hello again

- FRS is running on both D
- Ping IP and FQDN O
- I tried to run "ntfrsutl version (server1.domain.se)" but I dont know how
it shall look if it ok

If I create a new folder in the sysvol folder on server1 and it replicates
to server2

Connectio
Server 1 and 2 are on the same networ
AD site and services "replicate now" give me "AD has replicated the
connections"

Event id 13508 and 13516 only comes up after about 3 days

I use GPMC to look att policy, I have disable all of them but i still cant
reset password without using the restrictions that I had on a old policy.

Go to a workstation and bring up the local policy and
check to see if the domain policy is being enabled. It
should tell you which is being applied right in the policy
itself.
