Hello All,
I have Windows 2000 Adv server running on a dual athlon box with 2g of
memory that i use as a citrix server to share application.
I would like to replicate the C:\ to another hard drive on the same
system.
I tried the backup tool under "system tools" and used that to backup
to the new drive that i added as a slave called Z:\
All it does is make a file called backup.bkf
I am not sure how to use this file in case i have C:\ fail on me and i
need to get the machine up and running again.
(Do i need to add another hard drive and install windows 2000 on it ?
) and then recover from Z: onto it ?
Could someone point me to a tool(preferrably freeware) that i could
use to make identical copies of the 2 drives and so it my C:\ fails, i
open the box, pull both the drives out, throw out the bad drive,
change the backup drive to Master and boot it up again.
Is there a way to do this ? Or am i asking for too much.
Thanks.
