Is there any way I can copy the way a report is laid out,
in addition to all of the new text boxes I have put on a
page after I am done editing and then apply this to a new
report, so as to save making the same editing and layout
changes over and over again for multiple similar reports?

You can use a report as a sort of "template" just by
slelecting it in the database window and using Copy/Paste.

Not always, but frequently, it is possible/better to use a
little(?) code in one report to change some properties as
needed for a particular run. A form is a good place to
specify which options the report should respond to.

Also, you can use the OpenReport method's Where condition
argument to filter the data for the report, so you never
need to have multiple copies just because you want to filter
the report's data in different ways.
