Replacing infected windows system file

After installing McAfee Virus scan, I discovered the
system file called win32sockdrv.dll infected with a virus
that I couldn't clean. I'd like to know if I could just
delete it and how I could download the file to replace it
or if there was some other solution to this problem.

Just delete it but save it to the Recycle bin.

I tried to delete it but it said it was protected or
being used. I then tried disabling the system restore on
all drives and then deleting and i still couldn't. What
do i do?
