My HD has an OS (XP Pro) which cannot be activated because
it had been installed in another PC already. The XP Pro
was installed as upgrade to an XP Home which was initially
installed in the PC. XP Pro cannot be uninstalled and the
activation grace period is expiring in a few days. I've
decided to install a new separate HD and load it with the
XP Home. My questions are:
1. Do I have to disable the old HD while installing the
new HD?
2. Can I use the old HD as slave and then purge XP
Profrom it?
3. Can I just transfer files from the old HD to the new
primary HD including drivers, upgrades, etc.

Appreicate any other pointers.
