Replacing delted files

I delted a file (C:windows/system32/system32) to be igsact
becuase I had downloaded a trojan horse and my anti-virus
program wasn't up to date on its virus definition it
didn't pick it up? but thats not the problem its that my
computer has had little problems since then like not being
able to shut down it just sits their in the shut down
screen. I want replace that file or write it and stick it
back into C:windows/system32... will that work??
