Replacing a HP LJ4M with a LJ4M Plus - any parts worth saving?

I am about to replace my old LJ4M with a "newer" LJ4M Plus. I do not
have the room to keep the old one so I will have to through it away.
I know that the LJ4+ has more similarities with LJ5 than it has with
LJ4. Are there any parts etc. inside the LJ4M that are worth saving,
parts that tend to break, stuff that I eventually could use with the
LJ4M+?

There are not all that many parts...for example, the fuser is different,
as is most of the paper transport mechanism, and most of the boards. The
output assembly (top rear) is different (as I recall) but the rollers in
there (which tend to fail) are the same. I stripped out some LJ4 parts
recently and didn't keep all that much; the photo sensors under the
paper transport seemed worth saving (on a long narrow board under a
cover). The toner cartridge is OK, of course. Memory should be OK (but
not a PostScript SIMM). The cleaning brush is OK! Plastic covers are
nearly all different. I think the PSUs are different.

Differences are many and subtle - a lot is to do with the different
speeds at which they operate.

Look at the service manual and see the common part numbers. If you don't
