Hello,

My friend has a wireless keyboard that she no longer wants. It
originally came with a wireless mouse, which she is still using. My
question is can i get a wireless receiver device that i can plug into
my PC and which i can use with her keyboard as obviosuly she is
keeping her one for the mouse?

Thanks.
J

Check with the keyboard manufacturer.

Exactly. Most wireless "desktop" kits (keyboard / mouse) are usually
"paired" to the common receiver. Unless it is using the Bluetooth
wireless signals, you need that model of receiver.

Check Internet pricing for new wireless keyboard/mouse combinations. You
may find that it's cheaper to buy a new combination instead of just a
wireless receiver.

A new mouse & receiver might be easy/cheap to buy and give to your
friend so you could have the whole keyboard, mouse and receiver combo she
has.
