Hi.
I've been using a Chyang Fun Minicube + Chyang Fun CWT-150 PSU, with an
Epia mobo (1st gen) for a couple of years as a server, without problems
until today when the PSU died.
The problem is that I can't source a replacement PSU, or even one
similar, that would fit. All these ITX PSUs nowadays seem to be those
Pico type things that plug directly into the mobo, and come with an
external transformer.
I suppose I could buy one of those, but a) they tend to be below 150W
and b) that would still leave a gaping hole in the back of the case.
Yup, I tried eBay - without luck. Damn, this is going to turn out to be
an expensive problem. Are there no PSUs like the CWT-150 around any more
.... anywhere?
I've had to use a full size ATX PSU ripped from another machine, sitting
outside the box - not ideal.
What about PSU repairs - is there such a service offered anywhere (UK)?
TIA.
