Replacement for scandisk

Is there something faster than scandisk for floppies.
Scandisk seems
slower than a 3-legged turtle. Command line programs is OK.

Google around a bit for "Scandisk Pro" ... freeware.

Appears the "company" web-site is no-longer in service. Nor can the archive
(hds.zip, apparently) be found....

I've uploaded Hard Drive Scandisk Pro (from a personal archive CD) to
alt.binaries.freeware

Thank you for taking the time. Perhaps this next of mine might be considered
"looking a gift-horse in the mouth", but might there be some version (of the
exe) which is in English (as opposed to German)?

This is the way I got it but it's only a SFX zip file. Just unzip it with
your favorite zip program, put it in a directory and run it from there.
*Should* work.
