You could try QuickTime Alternative

Note that if you use Firefox (and maybe Mozilla), you will be unable to view
QuickTime videos embedded in Web pages.

Then you configured something wrong in Firefox/Mozilla. It works with them
since several versions.

Some text I read indicated that this worked for IE, but didn't mention
anything about any other browsers, so I figured they weren't supported --
plus, it doesn't work on my copy. Can you test that out at
www.metroid2002.com?

Okay, try this direct link to an embedded QT vid, please:
http://www.metroid2002.com/without_boost_space_jump.php

Thanks for giving me the direct link. I tried it out with that page and it
works perfectly. What I see in the video is a space ranger like guy running
through a jungle station or something similar like that. Bear with me to
not know what this is. :)

Anyway, if someone needs the link to the page where you can get quicktime
alternative 1.39, here it is http://www.codecguide.com/.

Hey, it's Samus Aran from the classic "Metroid" Nintendo series. :-p
Thanks for checking. How strange that I could never get embedded movies to
play. I'll try to fix this during my QTA reinstall.
