proceedure to replace the product key for WIN XP, and seems to work ok.

Is there a similar Article or proceedure for replacing the product Key for
WINDOWS 2000 Advanced Server?

Is there no way to replace the key without doing a clean install? I have
purchased a valid license key, but don't want to backup and reinstall from
scratch.
 
Not that I know of. I wouldn't worry about it since you hold a valid
license.

you can replace the product key.:)

Original cd lost other cd's of 2000 professional don't accept product key under the computer.

Is there any way to get the ability to get the copy certified.
So can get the benefits of microsoft free ware that certified copies of
operating systems get?
