Don

I have a document with paragraph breaks at the end of each line.

I tried to use find/replace to replace each paragraph break with a space,
but was unsuccessful.

How do I replace paragraph breaks (and the line break character also) with a
space?

It helps to know what your unsuccessful attempt consisted of.

In the Search/Replace dialog, click the More button. At the bottom of the
expanded dialog you'll see a button marked "Special". Paragraph marks are
one of the special codes it allows you to work with (the code in this case
is ^p).

Please respond in the same thread on this newsgroup. Make sure you
include details of your application and Windows versions, and whether
or not you have included any service pack updates.

Don,

Put ^13 in the find field and a space (tap on the space
bar in the replace field. Then use replace all.

Put ^l (that is a lower case L) in the find field and use
replace all again.
