Repeating Warning

Everytime I boot my computer I am getting a working from WD, see below. When
I try and add this file to the exception list it doesn't show in the popup.
When I look for the file directly I can't find it either. How can I be
getting a warning for a file that doesn't exist?

Path:
C:\WINDOWS\GATHER.KM

Detected changes:
driver:
EGATHDRV

I found a file called egathdrv.sys in C:\WINDOWS\System32.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Steve

Take a look here to see what `egathdrv.sys` does, then add it to your
exclusion list in WD if the software associated with this file is known to
you and you feel comfortable to do so:

Thanks for the response.

Adding the driver did not help. I am still prompted repeatedly.

Any other thoughts? The driver is valid, I'm on a ThinkPad.

Do you have Defender set to alert you to changes to the system from known
programs?
