Repeated clicks - please help!

My IE is acting strange. Whenever I type a link that doesn't exist, it
doesn't take me to a "search page" (you know, one of those "OOPS! Page
not found" things), but starts clicking repeatedly. When you look at
what it's trying to open, you see the URL to one of those search
pages, but it only stops when I click 'stop'. Why does it do this??

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.

Ah. AdAware fixed it. I didn't think that the problem could be caused by spyware :)
