I've had the same problem in the past. Go to your
system's prefetch folder, located at c:\windows\prefetch,
and shred the files that have abetterinternet in their
filenames, using the highest shredding setting possible.
If you don't have a file shredder, go to download.com and
download a freeware version. Make certain that 'Real-
time Protection' is turned on, so you shouldn't get
infected at later on down the road. This should solve
the problem.
The reason you keep getting re-infected is that
abetterinternet stores prefetch code, code used to
startup a program faster, in the prefetch folder. This
code is tied into IE, such that when you launch IE you
get re-infected.
Hope this helps you get this pain in the butt piece of
spyware off your system for good.
