Repeat 1st slide

I have a presentation where the 1st slide is an introduction slide. I want it to repeat while the auditorium is filling up. After that, I want the rest of the presentation to begin.

The 1st slide has many objects on it, and each object is animated. The presentation was created in PPT XP (ver. 2002), but I have access to ver. 2000 and ver. 2003.

I have tried using a repeat animation feature in PPT 2003, but that causes each animation to repeat, as opposed to the entire sequence of animations to repeat.

I have also tried using the PPT 97 Viewer. I created a separate presentation for the 1st slide, and created a play list. But, when I press ESC, either the entire play list ends, or the 1st presentation is followed by the 2nd presentation and then the 2 presentations loop.

It appears that the PPT 2003 Viewer dosn't support play lists.

Any help would be appreciated!

CPT,

This tutorial was written for you.

It's all about how to loop a set of slides until you're ready for the main event.

I have a presentation where the 1st slide is an intorduction slide (used while the auditorium is filling up). The 1st
slide contains many objects, and all of these objects are animated. I want the 1st slide to repeat until I'm ready to
give the rest of the presentation. The presentation was created in PowerPoint XP (2002), but I have access to PPT 2000
and PPT 2003, if necessary.
I have tried using the repeat animation setting in PPT 2003, but this causes each individual animation to repeat (not
the entire sequence of animations).
I have tried putting the 1st slide into its own presentation, and using the 97 PPT Viewer and a play list, to run the
presentations sequentially to make this happen, but with no luck (I cannot cause the 1st presentation to loop
repeatedly - either when ESC is pressed, the entire play list ends, or the entire play list repeats (not just the 1st
presentation).
It appears that the new 2003 PPT Viewer doesn't support play lists.

Any help would be appreciated!
