I think you are going to have to tell us a bit more. If you have removed
items, rather than quarantined them, they are probably gone.
If these were executable programs, and you are running Windows XP, you may
be able to use the System Restore feature to restore your system's
executable code to an earlier date and restore lost functionality.
However, this function does not restore user data, which in most cases
includes peer to peer shared files even when stored under the Program Files
tree.
