I am dual-booting Windows Vista and XP. I used Windows Update to install
updated drivers for my nForce4 SATA controller, and now the computer will no
longer boot into Vista. Safe mode does not work, nor does repairing with the
Vista DVD.

I am still able to boot into XP, so I can access the files on the Vista
drive. Does anyone know a way to either remove this update or replace it with
a working driver so I can boot into Vista again?

Are you saying that rolling back the driver in XP will fix the problem in
Vista? Recall that I cannot boot into Vista, and XP is working fine.

sorry........misunderstood your question.
But you can try a "repair" install of Vista.........and in the future get
your hardware updates from the manufacturers website not the MS Update
website
