A database we are using in access 97 returns a message
that it needs to be repaired upon opening. When we select
the repair option, it says that it is invalid and cannot
be repaired.
We have a 2-month old copy of the database that functions,
but the data tables are not up to date. This has happened
a few times before, but we were able to repair the
database temporarily (it would only work once and then ask
to be repaired each time upon opening) and extract the
data tables and paste them into the old copy.
Any thoughts?
