Hi there !

I have purchased this A3 capable HP printer, about 4 years ago (maybe 5
yrs). It worked all right during all this time, but it now has a sheet
feeding problem. A few months ago, when the problem started, the printer
still worked fine as long as the paper tray was not filled over 4/5 of its
maximum capacity, and not under 1/10th. But now, the problem occurs
whatever the level of paper. I can no longer print, unless I program one
sheet at a time AND keep a finger firmly pressed on next sheet on the
tray, so as to prevent it to be slid in at the end of the previous one...
If I don't do that, 3, 4 or even 5 sheets may be going through the
printer, one after the other...

Would there be a simple means of solving this problem ?

I have called the store where I bought that printer : they propose to send
it to HP for an overhaul cleaning and resetting, at a cost of about 100
Euros. Do you think it is worth it ? As for replacement, I haven't seen
any A3 capable printer for less that 400 Euros...
