repair video config

I had a problem with a video card... I told windows to stop using the device and on next boot the screen would show up until the initial logo screen.
After this is goes black. I need to use the recovery console to restore the win configuration to use the AGP card. Any Ideas?
 
Using safe mode , go to device manager and reinitiate it. Jym
