Repair / Reconfigure XP Pro SP2 after HDD replacement?

I am interested in replacing my old, slow HDD with a new one (direct swap
out). I can partition and format the new drive and image it with the data
from the old one and get the hardware changed out without any problems. Once
I have done this, however, will I need to take any additional steps to get XP
Pro SP2 to live on the new HDD comfortably?
 
Hi,

I have done this without a problem, though after a repair install weeks
later I was prompted to reactivate XP, so go figure..

I used ATI 8 to restore the OS image to the new drive, just be sure to
remove the imaged/cloned drive from the slave position before you reboot, to
avoid bootup problems with the new drive..
