Hi

I have Window 2000 Prof. installed in my computer. When I put the
disc Win 2000 Prof., in the CD rom, a Win 2000 CD window pops up with
three options.

Install Window 2000

Install Add-On Components

Browse this CD

My question is, how come it doesn't have a repair option? Your help will
be appreciated.

TIA

First, you are in the wrong newsgroup and should be in

microsoft.public.win2000.setup

but here's the answer, you have to boot off the cd to get to the repair
option.

Hi,

An in-place upgrade (install) is basically the same as a repair
