Hi

I have Vista Ultimate Upgrade

When I installed Vista over XP Home it found the Wireless network and
connected to the Internet without any issues.
Now, after several months the PC will not connect to the Network and I am
hoping that a Repair Install will reset the configuartions like it did when I
installed Vista.

I have seen a lot of stuff on the net about repairing Vista but it has just
confused me, so I have a cpuple of questions, is it possibe to do a Repair
Install with Vista and not lose the programs etc, if so how is it done?

thanks

Hi Daniel,

No, it is not possible to do a repair install like you may be familiar with
in XP. If it is just your network adapter, you may try resetting the
connection from an elevated command prompt using "netsh int ip reset
resetlog.txt"

internet connection is required to run the microsoft upgrade advisor to
check that so it autometically got connected to internet . to check that ur
system has the specifications to install vista.
