Repair feature!!??

I had some problems with windows, i presume it was a virus. In the end i
couldn't run any microsoft programs and everything was running really
slow. It started off not long after i got an error message when trying
to start microsoft word. it said "norton antivirus does not support the
repair feature, please uninstall and re-install"! So i did what it said
but got the same message. Norton isnt showing any virus's and i have
all the latest updates. I ended up having to format and re-install. But
now its starting to happen again! I only put the files that i need back
on, and scanned them for virus's before i did. Please can someone help
me!!?? Is there any known virus that does this? or is it something
else??

If you're referring to the error message "Norton Antivirus does not support
the repair feature......." when you say that "now it's starting to happen
again", then please have a look at this Symantec KB article:
