Hello,

For already almost 1 year I'm trying to get a Access2000
database stable.
It's a database running on a Windows2000 server and used
by 20 persons at one time at the most.
It's based on about:
40 tables
50 query's
60 forms
1 macro
19 VB Modules
2 VB Classes
From time to time the database gets corrupted and needs to
be repaired. Sometimes it's 4 or 5 times a day and then
after some weeks I don't have to repair it for some weeks.
So eventhough I've tried almost every thing I can't get
this problem soulved.
Does anyone have a list of ALL the possible causes for an
Access2000 database to get in a corrupted state so I can
check if I've realy tried everything?

thanks!

Kind regards Auke

Search the MS knowledge base for a technical article on
Opportunistic Locking. If you're using and NT server and
Access 2000 there is a security patch that needs to be
loaded on your server.
