Renaming System Folders

Does anyone know how to rename a user's folder within
the "Documents and Settings" folder? When I try the usual
method in Windows Explorer, I get a message saying: "<old
name> is a Windows system folder and is required for
Windows to run properly. It cannot be moved or renamed."

I've tried changing the associated user account name, but
that doesn't rename the folder.

Any ideas?
