renaming hard drives

I have just rebuilt my pc with a new hard drive set as 'master' and the old
one also in as 'slave'. However when I installed XP, despite installing
itself on the new hard drive, it has called the old drive 'C' and the new
one 'F'. I would prefer the hard drives to be C and D as I would expect. Can
I rename them in the right order? and is there any problems just running it
as it is? Also having problems getting the Outlook express info from the
old disk to the new but more about that if i get the first problem solved
any advice of where to look appreciated.

Go to disk management
Right click on "my computer" and select the "manage" menu item
In the displayed dialog box select the "Disk management" icon in the list
view
In the right hand window all your drives should be listed and you can change
their properties from here.
You may have to go round robin until you get them as you want.
