Well, yes, there is a difference. You can change any drive letter (except the system drive) in disk managment. I would reccomend giving hour HDD names also. If you use partitioning or imaging software the drive letters can (and do) change in those programs to logical lettering and sometimes a name is the only way to identify the drive.
