Hi,

I am trying to change the administrator and guest logins
for all of my workstations using group policy. I want
them to include the hostname of the workstation which is
causing me problems.

Using the environment variable %computername% in the
rename administrator account security policy does not get
resolved.

Any ideas how I can accomplish this?

Thanks

Environment variables are not supported in group policy the way you are
trying to use it.

You can use the cusrmgr.exe tool from the Resource Kit to rename the
administrator account and it will do it remotely as well. You'll just have
to come up with a script to do it.
