Renamed "My Pictures" folder

Maybe I'm going crazy, but all the subfolders of photos present within the
"My Pictures" folder seem have vanished... this occurred when I attempted to
rename "My Pictures" to something else.

Anything I can do to recover all my pictures? :/
 
Yay, no need to panic. I found a backup CD that contained the majority of
images I lost. It's still bizarre though. I was uninstalling programs just
before I noticed the absence of subfolders...maybe they were randomly
"uninstalled" too. Hmm.
