I have a toughie here, and not entirely sure if Excel can do it! But i'll see if you guys can help me out.
I have about 200 lines in column R, with the following examples...
WS630-1~LT~4 7 1995.TIF
WS622-1~LT~27 4 1998.TIF
WS600-1~LT~3 2 1999.TIF
(I have thousands of CSV files with this).
Now, All of these have WS*number*-1~LT etc
HOWEVER! What I want to do is take all the entries in colum R that have -1 and make a copy in in the U COLUMN WITHOUT the -1
So, it'll go from this,
WS630-1~LT~4 7 1995.TIF to WS630~LT~4 7 1995.TIF ||
Anyone able to help me out, really don't fancy going through thousands of entries removing a -1.
Regards,
