Rename Hard Drive

I have a hard drive connected to an XP-Home machine via a
USB2.0 interface. The drive works fine, but whenever I
try to change the drive's name, I receive a "You do not
have sufficent rights to perform this operation" error.
Please advise as to how I can change the drive's name.
BTW - reformating is not an option.
 
You have to login as administrator to make that changes
you probably set to a restricted user...

You must be the system adm. To make changes like that
