Rename Domain name

Hello,
My question is we currently running in a mix mode with windows 2000 & 2003
and we would like to rename the domain name. If I rename the domain would it
affect our exchange 2000 server and will it create a new profile if the
users login in to their computer? Also what are the steps I have to go
through? Thanks

I suspect that you will be able to do so only with considerable difficulty
if at all.

And here's information about renaming Windows 2003 Server domains but the
caveats are quite clear that you can't do so in a 2000/2003 mixed domain:

With Exchange 2000 in the environment, I'd steer well clear of any domain
renaming.
