Removing Windows 2000 professional

I recently updated from Win2K pro to Win XP pro, however
I failed to remove the old 2k OS which is taking up a
considerable amount of space on my hard drive. Can I
still remove 2K without affecting XP, and how? Thanks !!!
 
Are you saying you installed XP on top of Windows 2000 Pro without deleting Windows 2000 first? If you did, then I don't think you can remove the old Windows 2000 files anymore. It's too risky. I would suggest formatting the partition and installing a fresh copy of XP.
